Thanks Mr. Pres. JB, Mr. Nest for keeping POGI all work up when I am incommunicado. Alright POGI we still have time to sharpen our skills for our first major tournament of the year. I know many of you are already practicing, eager to showcase your golf skills and earn the bragging rights who are the best amongst the best (sand bagger) among us. Welcome all new members.

Please be there early we are going to have some skills competition with prizes (already bought) of course.

As we entered our 19th season our first major tournament of the season which we will hold on April 27th at HIGH BRIDGE HILLS GOLF CLUB. High Bridge Hills has emerged as Northern New Jersey's best true links course.

80% of Course Handicap will be applied to player’s official USGA Handicap one week before the tournament will be used. System 36 will be used if no handicap. Tie breaker-- raw score on 1st hardest hole, then 2nd, etc. till tie is broken.  Mr. Nestor will clarify everything if you have question(s) or concern.

Prime Directives (New member)

 

All active members are deemed registered to play for the tournament. If a player is unable to commit to play for that date, he has until Monday (end of day) of that week before the tournament to declare that he is not playing (NO Penalty). If no such declaration or cancellation at the end of day on Monday, he is assumed playing. If the player is no show, Cancellation Penalty applies (To pay 100% or the tournament fee).

"our pairing list will be given Tuesday before our golf outing  to High Bridge golf coordinator so please request early (before Monday) before our tournament" please be kind.
